Proud Mommy Moments

I just had to link up with Kmama from The Daily Dribbles today for Proud Mommy Moments.

When Savanna was about 3 years old, we met a couple who had kids around our kids age and we started spending time at their house or at our house. The brother of the husband was visiting one night while we were over and as uncles and nephews sometimes do, the brother and son of the husband began wrestling. They got carried away and the boy began to holler that he needed "help" all the while laughing his little head off. Apparently, Savanna did not find it funny and she decided to come to his rescue by screaming, "STOP IT ASSHOLE!" Oh yes, YES she did!

For the love of Dr. Pepper, I nearly died, right then and there, if I could have made myself disappear, I would have! It was horribly embarrassing but all these years later, we are all still friends.

We call these "proud parenting moments" around our house...LOL

  2. LOL! I was just reading another blog post about a child repeating a similar phrase. It's always a treat when your words come back to haunt you! :)
